Dr Alannah Freer

Dr Alannah Freer graduated from University of Queensland in 1982 with honours and has been in private practice for nearly 30 years.

Dr Alannah completed a Masters degree researching the effects of dental amalgam replacement with composite resin on the immune system at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Alannah is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (1998) and continues to regularly attend conferences on dentistry, nutrition and environmental medicine. In 2016, Alannah was invited to become a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, the oldest honorary society in dentistry that recognises service within dentistry.

Other interests include lecturing dental students on “Dentist Wellbeing”, examining with the Australian Dental Council, reading and of course discussing the history of philosophy, science and religion.
