Children’s Dentistry

Dr Rachael Clem and Dr Alannah Freer are experienced in providing oral health care and children’s dentistry, especially those who may be a bit nervous. We have a purpose-built treatment room that is a lot of fun and very colourful. Our emphasis is always on building a foundation of trust with our littlest patients.

As soon as your child has teeth, it is valuable to have them checked. The Australian Dental Association recommends that your child attend their first dental check-up at 12 months of age. This is also a great opportunity to discuss tooth brushing and the impact of diet on your child’s teeth.

We believe in helping parents build the foundations that are required for a child to maintain and enjoy good oral health, now and in the future. By educating children at an early age on the reasons why dental hygiene is important, and supporting the growth and development of their teeth through proper nutrition, you can help your child maximise the chances of keeping their natural teeth in good working order long into their adult life.

Our goal is to provide a caring and comfortable environment so that dental treatment is not a stressful event for you or your child. Our experienced practitioners are able to support you and your child in developing a programme of self-care that supports oral health from their first dental appointment, all the way through to adulthood.
